Ski resort in Savoie
Aussois alpine ski resort
The Aussois ski area offers slopes of all levels between 1500m and 2700m with a south-facing exposure.
The vast snow front is specially designed for children and beginner skiers: beginner ski lifts, toboggan runs, ESF snow garden, daycare, games, and entertainment. This is also where you can take the Grand Jeu chairlift that leads to the heart of the ski area, at an altitude of 2200 meters.
From the top of the Grand Jeu, you can ski down on blue, red, or green slopes that wind through the fir trees. This area has a forest atmosphere with very beautiful slopes such as the red Chouillère, the blue Ortet, or the long green slope of the Côtes.
But from the Grand Jeu, most skiers take a second chairlift: the Armoise, which allows you to quickly reach the top of the ski area. From up there, you can enjoy a panoramic view of the Alps and some superb slopes for all levels. It is also possible to reach the Fournache area, exposed to the North-North West, and its technical and challenging slopes.
